    Call for Papers

    The 2012 annual colloquium in American Studies at Palacký University, Olomouc, will be held from October 26-27.

    The plenary speaker will be Maureen N. McLane, author of two books of poems and co-editor of the The Cambridge Companion to British Romantic Poetry (2008). She won the National Book Critics Circle's Nona Balakian Award for Excellence in Book Reviewing in 2003.

    We will also welcome Kerry Shawn Keys, poet, playwright, translator and performer, recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship, USA, 2005 and Poet-Laureate Translator for translation from Lithuanian, Writers Union, Lithuania, 2003. And we would like to invite participants, poetry-lovers, from all over.
